Testimonials

CB Maxwell, staff writer for Golf Today Magazine - “I recently installed the light Shaft Stabilizer in my 3 metal which is what I use off the tee, and the results are impressive and immediate. I get a better feel and get my hands in a much better position both in the back swing to get set at the top and through the hitting zone, the club clears much better. Result, about a 10% increase in distance, improved ball flight and tighter dispersion all around. My wife is a small person at only 5’ and her driver was improved considerably, taking out the mishits right which was a common problem for her until we installed the SS. You gotta get this device, if you want to hit more fairways.”

Dr. Booth - Southhampton, UK - "I'm an amateur from the UK and by chance (I think I was looking at a long drive forum Incepta.ca?) found out about BCG products, I started with a #11 in my putter and then toyed with a #3 in my driver. I got great results in the putter but struggled with the driver, that said, the weight stayed in the driver and I didn't think any more of it.

On a visit to see my club builder, Zane Navie @ Urban Golf in London, I was snooping around his workshop while he was building a wedge for me and saw the shaft stabilizer stuff on his bench and asked if it was any good, so we whipped out the #3 from my driver and put in the heavy SS. Long story short - it has made a huge difference. The clearer perception I have of each backswing seems to help me get into better positions at the top and I seem to be able to use my instincts to stay on plane. I suspect the gap between my mental image of what I'm doing and what I'm actually doing has narrowed significantly thanks to the strategically positioned weight.

I lost only 1mph ball speed in the driver but the flight improved significantly and a 10yd fade has turned into a dead straight shot; resulting in a gain of ~5yds.

It worked so well I decided to put one in my 3W and 3, 4 & 5 hybrids, expecting to just drop in heavy SS's BUT...

Driver --- heavy
3 wood --- light
3 hybrid --- heavy
4 hybrid --- heavy
5 hybrid --- light

strange!? but the results are tremendous.

congrats on the product and keep up the good work, this thing is excellent!"

Vic Youngberg - "Those Shaft Stabilizers are GREAT!!!!!!! I shot an average of 6 shots per round better this year over last years trip and hit 65% of the fairways, which is a 15% improvement on my last years overall total. My wedge play was spot on! I just ordered 2 more SS's for my 8 and 9 irons. Currently I have them in my driver, 3-wood(metal), 5-wood(metal), 60 and 54 degree wedges. Nice work!!!!!!!!"

Jessie Melton - "My wife and I met you a couple of weeks ago at the PGA Superstore in Atlanta (Buckhead Area) off of Garson. I do not know if you remember us or not but you helped me with my driver and I was able to gain almost thirty yards with the balancing and information about the sweetspot on my Callaway ERC Fusion. I have been hitting my driver more consistently with a few misses here and there but I am very well pleased with the improved consistency of my ball-striking. It has caused quite the confidence in the rest of my game and I cannot wait to get my putter done as well (been working on that ... back to good putting). Well the real reason for emailing you is to tell you that I qualified today for the regional Long Drive Championship. In the open division the longest had been 329 yards and to be honest I was a little unsure of entering but hey the simulator had my longest at 342 and I had hit one 335 the same week so I said what the heck. I warmed up using their long drivers (50") and was only getting 320 at the most so I said I will hit some with mine and they were in the 330 range with would be the best for the open division thus far. So I decided to go with what I knew and I knew my driver....The first swing qualified me at 335 yards. Now that the pressure was off, I put on my glove and hit another 345 yards... I really torqued up and hit one 369 yards....There was a couple of others that were longer but they were out of bounds.... I Could not believe it. I know I have always been a long hitter but once my club was balance certified, I became more consistent and my confidence is through the roof. The best money I ever spent! HANDS DOWN!"

Mike Vine - Christchurch, New Zealand - "Before using your product my ball flight was high and balloon like. As to what benefits I have received using you're superb productive it's just plain difficult to quantify. I know my ball speed improved because a pro and I used a swing speed radar 1 & 3 didn't change but the 2 jumped dramatically. I have been fitted for a driver for the first time in my life and have been receiving regular coaching for the last six months. As such my handicap has dropped 7 shots and my ball striking has improved markedly. Having said that I only have 3 clubs which don't have you're product in them and they just don't feel that good. Just for clarity, balance certified products have improved my ball speed and thus distance, accuracy and ball flight. These products have complimented the driver fitting and coaching and made them more effective."

Larry Peterson - "OK, I am a believer. I just received your driver kit and eager to try it out I went to the range at my club. I could tell immediately that this was going to improve the quality of my swing. I had just started testing this and around the corner came a friend of mine--to tell me he shot even par from the back tees for the first time. After congratulating him I asked him to try out my driver--without anything and then with the three different offset weights. He really liked #3, the heaviest weight. After experimenting, I found #2 to be best for me. Which demonstrates that the correct weight depends on the person swinging the club. I also tried the three weights with my 3 wood--and interestingly, the #3 weight worked best. I am going to get some more weights--and try it with other clubs in my bag. I am interested in how this will work, for example, with my 9 and 6 irons and my hybrid clubs."

George Garcia - Long Island, NY -"I was recently down in Myrtle Beach where I was entered in the World Amateur Handicap Championship. My putting the first day was not up to par. But I went into the convention center and met with John Cranston from Balance-Certified. He went threw a series of tests with me and found the weight I needed. My putter was hot and went back the next 3 days to win my flight. THANK YOU IT REALLY WORKS..........."

Mike Pomara - "I recently had my putter balanced by John Cranston in Myrtle Beach. The best way to describe the results is "Instant Gratification". I immediately began to putt on line, had better feel and made more putts. The days of three putts are gone!! It is truly amazing. I am now in the process of balancing my driver. It is an "eye opener" to see consistently straighter drives. A must do for the golfer who wants to improve his/her game."

Dianne Dailey (Head Coach) - Wafe Forest University Womens Golf - "We just finished qualifying yesterday for our first tournament and had the lowest scores for any qualifier so far. The students are definitely putting better! Thanks for your help. I'm going to share the weights with the men's team and see how they do too."

Dianne Dailey (Head Coach) - Wafe Forest University Womens Golf - "Thanks for sending the Balance-Certified Kit. It has been a hit. I have fit almost everyone on our team and the students can tell a real difference. I need to order some more weights."

Michael Backer - Duffer's Golf, NC - "One of the local PGA pros I know and play with was hitting nothing but low hooks with his Nike 460 driver. This pro is a very consistent player and has the nickname "Steady Eddie" among our foursome because "Eddie" shoots between 68-74 all the time. His scores had slipped some since he started hitting the Nike driver, as he could not control where the ball went. He was ready to give up on the driver and try something else. So, I introduced Eddie to Balance Certified. Within 15 minutes on the range he was hitting the ball straighter and longer than he thought possible with that driver. I used a #5 drop-in weight to correct the hooking problem and to get him hitting the center of the face very consistently. Eddie was sold immediately and asked me to work with his two assistants who were spraying the ball. Needless to say they all have Balance Certified drop-in weights in their drivers and could not be happier with the results. Some of my customers tell me they have picked up an additional 20 yards after the Balance Certified weight was installed. Great product, great results."

Jason Mueller - Simi Valley, CA - "I am the store Manager of Pro Golf Discount of Simi valley. Balance Certified called on me to carry and support the product. I didn’t believe in the system at first, because I was concerned about the swing weight of Balance Certified products. Once I tried it for myself I was blown away and was mad at myself for keeping this from my customers. Since we have brought the system into the store we have received amazing feed back. The number one thing I have learned is that Balanced Certified helps keep your hands more solid in the back swing and helps distance control overall. Hands down this is one of the best additions to our custom fitting program I have ever added."

Kevin Moore - Los Angeles, CA - PCS Certified Class A Clubmaker - "As a Class A. Clubmaker it is my obligation to put my customers in the equipment that best suits and improves their game. The easiest and most effective solution I have found is the counter balance system from Balanced Certified. In most cases the golfers current equipment does not need to be changed; just modified with the right counter balance weight to see and "feel" immediate results, Driver, fairway woods, irons and especially the putter are all greatly enhanced. I have fitted hundreds of golfers with the system; most of whom recommend it to their golfing friends. That in itself is the true measure of the effectiveness of counter balancing with Balance Certified."

Phil White - Hilton Head Island, SC - Long Drive Professional - Four (4) time Re/Max World Long Drive Championship Finalist; 2003, 04, 05 and 06 - Re/Max World Long Drive Championship, District 9 Championship, Senior Division Champion - Age 49 - Longest Drive in Competition; 403 yards. "I wanted to tell you how well your product works for me. In 2003, I got involved in the sport of Long Drive and became a member of the Long Drivers of America (LDA). It was through the LDA and their competitions around the U.S., I started to learn about the various products available to me in the market. I had tried varying combinations of Shafts, Heads, Grips, etc. Once I was able to focus on the components of my long drive clubs and what was working, I quickly learned there was something missing. As most of you may or may not know, our swing / club head speeds exceed a lot of the standard club building specification charts. I also noticed that I was not able to feel the club in my hands and where the club itself was in relationship to my swing. This is where Balance Certified, Drop-In, Butt Weights have come to help me understand the integral part they play in feel, swing & club head speed, added distance as well as improving my accuracy. Balance Certified Weights have increased my distances by 20, 30 yards, maybe more. They have improved my accuracy by allowing me to feel my club throughout my swing and thus realizing whether or not my swing is on the proper plane with striking the ball. The added weight in my hands allows me to hold the lag in my wrists and hands for the optimized release / snap point to generate the maximum kick out of the shaft and triggering higher club head speeds. I have seen my club head speed increase from 110 - 115 mph to 130 - 140 mph, that's an increase of 15 to 18%. Without Balance Certified Butt Weights, I don't believe I would have the aforementioned list of credentials above. Thank You Balance Certified for all you've done for me! For all the golfers out there, and you don't have to be a Professional Golfer or Long Driver, put a Balance Certified Weight into your club and see what a difference the Balance Certified Weighting system does for you."

Pete Makowski - Pete's Golf Shop (Mineola, NY) - "Just thought I would drop you a line about our success with Balance Certified weighting. As you may know I have been club fitting an custom club making since 1974. Knowing that the proper swing weight has always been an important part of both club fitting and club making, I was very please to discover your weighting system. It has opened a totally new dimension in balacing golf clubs for my customers. Almost every putter that I fit now has a Balance Certifed weight installed. Your product has made it quick and easy to professionally fit and balance my customers clubs. The quality of the weights has also made it easy to sell and looks great. Thank you!"

Jeff Sy - Power Golf (Rowland Heights, CA) - "The Balance Certified products are a godsend to many of our clients! Your weight system has helped out so many of our clients on their ball striking on their drivers. The putter weight system is absolutely amazing, as well! The claims that we have been getting form the customers astound us because they claim at least a 4 stroke improvement in their putting...and that is just the average that i've taken in the past 2 years!!! I've heard as much as 6 strokes!!! Thanks for the great product and keep up the great work!!!"

Jim McCleery - McGolf Custom Clubs "The Balance Certified system has been a positive addition to our shop. The customer is absolutely amazed at the results. I have more golf buddy referrals from the Balance Certified system than any other golf product. If you are a golf equipment specialist you need the B-C system." 2006 Regional Clubmaker of the Year, Top 100 Clubfitter WORLD WIDE, PCS Certified Advanced Professional

Fredrick Raymond - Atlanta, GA "I was fit by your Tour Rep, John Cranston. After going through the fitting process with John, we decided that the #5 drop-in was the right one for me. I liked the feel immediately but wanted to really put this technology to the test. So, I played three rounds at three different courses to convince myself that this feeling was real. My golf buddies have always liked to call me "Mr. 3 Putt", for obvious reasons. But after playing these 3 rounds with the #5 drop-in weight in my putter, I only had 1 three-putt during the entire three rounds. I was so excited and had a great time playing because I was more comfortable with my putter and felt like we were in tune with each other. Thanks Balance Certified for helping tune my game."

Vic Youngberg, Illinois "Let me first start off by saying that my handicap is now 7.7, down from a 10.9 earlier this year and has dropped every period. My last 4 scores are, 79, 79, 79, and 80. I have had less than 29 putts on each of those rounds. The #9 weights in [ALL] my clubs have helped my quick transition at the top, without hurting my distance."

Dale Porter, Alabama "John, As promised I thought I would update you on my performance with the balance-certified edge, as it were. Second in the Senior division of the Commodore's Cup in Tuscaloosa. Tied for third place Amateur in the Senior Scratch tournament at Twin Lakes. My partner and I made the quarter finals of the State Match Play. Co-Medallist in the State Amateur Qualifier. All this in the last month. Things are working well. Thanks, Dale Porter"

Stanley Kee, Torque Golf, Singapore "I have heard about BCG about 2 years back. But was skeptical that a counter weight system could be so effective. Truth is, every golfer wants distance and accuracy. BCG definitely offeres that. I had a customer come in today that wanted to drive longer. He was driving his about about 200 yards with his current driver. We tried several weights and settled on a #3 drop-in. There were several other customers watching the process. At the end of the session, everyone was speechless. Why? He was driving it 265 yards. The improvement is remarkable. What makes this system so wonderful is that it brings out the best swing you have got. The key to good golf is the ability to repeat a shot over and over again. BCG does exactly that. The system delivers what it promises. As for myself? I have it on every club in my bag :)"

Ronnie Sheek at Special Tee Custom Golf, High Point, NC "BCG is the best engineered product I have ever worked with. The R&D is excellent and with the different weight levels, it makes the system very easy to use. The staff at BCG is also very knowledgable and helpful. I recommend BCG to all of my customers. It's a no brainer.

Tom Richards Rama Custom Golf, Canada"This product is unbelieveable. I have fit putters and drivers with great sucess. "My customers are sinking more putts than they ever did before. It is the distance control that really makes a difference in the putter. I have also fit customers who did not like to hit their driver because they could not hit it straight. One customer in particular put his driver back in his bag, after being fit for a BCG weight and promptly went out and hit 14 fairways in his first round after the installation. He came back and Thanked me for introducing BCG to him".

Robert Daly, Vulcan Golf Rep. Florida I only have one word to say about BCG "awesome". I installed a weight in my driver and could not believe the difference in feel and performance.

Dan Wilt Tee Riffix Custom Clubs, TN GCA Club Builder of the Year (12/16/05) BCG is amazing !! It is a phenominal product to offer your customers. There is a total difference in ball striking with BCG installed into your clubs. I use impact tape when fitting a customer to show them how the ball strike pattern on the face of the club improves (more center hits) with BCG installed. The added distance and improved ball dispersion are by products of more center hits, more consistantly. I use BCG in putters, drivers and fairway woods and am getting more requests from customers wanting to try BCG in their irons. It is hard to explain why it works, it just does, and the results speak for themselves.

Mike Dickerson, Golf MD, KS - BCG Dealer - 12/16/05 I recently fit six of the PGA club pros in my area with BCG. The comments were "this is unbelievable, I did not think a counter weight could make such a difference. I hit the ball 10-15 yards longer and with the weight in the shaft, the feel is fantastic, very solid at impact." People spend a lot of money buying equipment that they think will help them play better golf. If you are a serious golfer or just somebody looking to improve your performance you should give BCG a try, it is definately worth the money.....

Norm Judd - Montebello, CA - 12/6/05 - BCG is technology that all golfers should try to see if can help them gain more distance or hit the ball straighter. I installed a # 2 weight into my driver and the results were excellent. I gained 2 1/2 MPH in Swing speed, 12-15 yards on my drives and I find myself in the middle of the fairway more often. I now have BCG in my wedges, driver, fairway woods and putter. BCG can help a lot of golfers play better golf.

Tony Tantillo - Atlanta, GA - 10/11/05 - I appreciate your time and willingness to work with me!!!!! As per our conversation I'm very excited about the results I've experienced after having my clubs Balanced-Certified. I'm a 4 handicap @ East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. I just won the Bobby Jones Match Play Championship at EAST LAKE on Sunday.(Oct.9.2005). Having my clubs Balanced Certified has made a major difference in my game!!! My ball stays on line. My off shots are far and few between and are still very close to my intended target. Being the avid golfer that I am I want to meet with someone from Balance Certified to help me custom fit each club in my set.

R Miller - Long Island, NY 5/31/05 - I had my 1st round with the balance-certified weights installed in my 8.5 degree Ping G2 driver (#3 - 30 gram) and my Yes! Marilyn putter (#9 - 90 gram) and I'm a believer! On my front-9, I had FIVE 1-putts!!!! ....mind you, the putting is THE WORST part of my game (I'm a 9.7 index)....I usually average between 32 - 34 putts per round. I ended the round with 29 putts and the wind was blowing as hard as I've ever played in. The difference I felt in my driver was immediate as well. The 1st drive of the round was a 521 par-5 and I had 171 left to the pin!! (Missed the chip for eagle, but made the birdie...LOL) I can't tell if it was a coincidence....but I can even notice more consistency on the driving range while practicing with the driver and on the putting green with the BC-equipped putter. I'd HIGHLY recommend people give this a try! With adjustible weights (and more seeming like a gimmick) becoming all the range these days, it's a matter of time before something that actually has immediate results and feedback also becomes widespread...especially since they WORK!! Thanks much!

Vincent Zuanich - Monterey, California 5/18/05 - Just writing to tell you that I went to see Dave Balbi and he installed the 70g insert in my old Ping Ally3 putter which I'd used sparingly over the last few years. I had gone to a belly putter previously because my putting was so bad. What a difference. I just played three rounds on 3 tough courses in Monterey and I putted the best I ever have. On the final day, I had 25 putts. For a 16 handicap, that is AWESOME! My confidence on 6 to 15 footers was amazing. On all three rounds, if it didn't go in, it was always close to a gimmie. Great product. Thanks Dave!

Josh Kamin - Atlanta, Georgia 3/25/05 - I met you yesterday at the PGA Tour Superstore and you asked that I send along this testimonial. I didn't see a link to do so on your website, so I am sending this message to you for that purpose. Last year, I was fitted for new clubs by Bill Baraban. During a previous lesson with Bill, we played around with the balance certified weights to see if they made a difference in my swing results. At the time I was a 3-handicap, and while I felt that they did not give me more distance, they did give me a better penetrating ball flight and a tighter shot dispersion. In fitting the new clubs, we added the balance certified weights into all of my irons. My results have been very satisfying. My handicap is now a +0.4, having just risen from a +0.7. I won the US Maccabiah Championships and will represent the United States this summer in the World Maccabiah Games. And,as an anecdote, it seemed that I would be lucky each year to have one round where I would make three birdies in a row - last year I did it 8 times, including twice in one round! My putting has always been good, but yesterday at the PGA Tour Superstore we put a weight in my putter - so we'll give that a try as well. If I have results even a quarter as good, then that will be fantastic!

Jerome Sims - Atlanta, Georgia 3/22/05 - Thanks for all your help at the PGA TOUR Superstore in Atlanta with my YES putter. You are going to love this. In my tournament this past weekend, on the first hole, I rolled in a soft bomb for birdie. First time I ever putted with Balance Certified. I also holed another one from about the same range with a little left to right break. Thanks, as I will be telling all my golfing buddies about Balance Certified Golf.

Sean Baenen - 13 handicap, San Francisco 2/16/05 - I'm not a big believer in "testimonials". In my view, if a product works like it should, then it works like it should: why make a fuss?
However, the Balance Certified system is so extraordinary that I felt compelled to sit down and write you personally. Balancing my bag has done more to advance my overall ball striking than ANY new club, new shaft, or "high-performance" ball I've purchased in the past 10 years. Period. From my very first swing with the rings, I was blown away. I've read articles about distance enhancements that come from using your counterweights (which, by the way, has been true in my case). However, what I love about your system is the improvement in contact. With the weights on board, impact is just pure. In fact, I'm totally hooked. I had a great fitting experience with your local dealer - David Balbi - who installed various sizes of weights in each of my clubs. Overall, I'm more balanced and hitting with more accuracy from driver to putter.
Truth be told, I'm a little angry at myself for spending so much time and money looking for the right gear when the real key to that feeling of hitting it on the screws every time was counter balancing.
Thanks again for all you've done for my game. Great product. Truly unbelievable service.
Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Mike Scherer, 2/08/05 - I lost balls in places I have never been before - no kidding...I saw the 30 yards improvement several times. The most noticeable effect was ball roll. One time I hit a solid drive and couldn't find the ball. I looked forward 30 yards and it was way up in front of where I thought it would be.

Christopher Cross, 10/26/04 - I had the opportunity to play with a well know PGA Tour Player last year when I was visiting Orlando, Florida. It was just the luck of the draw that I hooked up with this PGA Player and got a chance to play 18 holes with him. It was during these 18 holes of golf that the Pro asked me, “Chris is your club balanced. I looked at him with a puzzle on my face and said, “what do you mean by balanced club? I always thought that clubs came balanced. He said,?no they never come balanced from the factory? He then went on to tell me about balanced-certified golf clubs and advised to look into it when I get home. He said many of the golf pros currently use these inserted weights in their shafts, which helps them in accuracy and distance. He said to me, “Chris you will see an immediate difference in all your clubs. The iron shots will be tighter to center, your driver will add about 15 yards longer and straighter, and your putter will consistently do better when coming to lag putts. In December of last year my handicap was six and thought that I was an average player, but felt with a few changes I could get better. When I got back home I looked up balanced-certified on the web, and contacted John Cranston for more information about these weights that the pros are putting in the shaft. In detail John explained everything to me in such a way that it started to make sense. I decided to purchase 14 weights for all my clubs and was sold on the concept without really getting a chance to hit any balls with them outdoors. You see I live in up-state New York and the winters are long and cold. I went to an indoor driving range where you can hit balls about 100 yards. This was ample for me to try my wedges and a few irons. I was totally surprise when I first tested the clubs with the new weights in them as they seem so solid in striking the balls. It felt like hitting a base ball with a wooden bat with lead in it. A good solid hit which felt so smooth I was totally surprised. Now I know why the PGA Players use them although most of them won’t admit it or cover the weights with their grips. Not only was the feel phenomenal but the accuracy was perfect. I could not believe how well I could stick a shot and how accurate I was.

Our season started here around the 3rd week of April 2004 and I was so excited about the weights being in the shaft I had to share the news with others. Most of the people I explained it to seemed hesitant and wanted to see how I played. This season has been the best season I had since playing golf some 25 years ago. My handicap got down to 1 by early September 2004. The only reason I can contribute to this decrease in handicap from a 6 to a 1 is the balanced-certified weights I have in my shafts. It definitely made me a believers in them and I finished 3rd in a senior county tournament this past summer. Many of the spectators where asking what I had stuck in the end of the club? I just told them that it is necessary to load the shaft in order to strike the ball well and that all my clubs are balanced-certified. They had the same look on their face as I did when the PGA Tour Pro explained it to me. The closest I ever finished in this tournament was 21st and was later voted as the most improved player of the year. Due to a back injury in mid September my handicap has slipped up to 2, but I will still take it. I just want to thank you guys in helping me become a much better golf player due to your balanced-certified golf weights that are put into the shaft. I would recommend to any player who wants to get better especially for those who want to get into the low single digit handicap. My goal next year is to be scratch golfer or better.

Hey Guys- Just hanging out in the shop today trying for the first time BCG weighting. Holed 55, 8 footers in a row with the #9 weight.
Thanks, Chris Burkstaller PGA Professional Golf Etc. of Baton Rouge

" Thanks for fixing my putter," said Bobby Parish who played in the Fall ING tournament in Las Vegas with his Balance-Certified Scotty Cameron putter winning the tournament again shooting a 76 (par 70) with a 10 handicap. Sept 29, 2004.

Congratulations to Andrew Patipaksiri for his 18 birdies and one bogey in 54 holes and new record for AJGA juniors for 54 holes. Andrew was using a putter equipped with a Balance-Certified drop-in weight. He was fit by George Pinnell at The George Pinnell Golf Academy @ Westridge Golf Course. Jeffrey Z. Williams Fair Oaks, Ca - 9/3/04

I just started competing in Long Drive. Of course the driver's are quite a bit longer then a standard length driver, which raises the swingweight dramatically. I had trouble getting the clubhead through at impact and was blocking shots to the right. A buddy that I play skins with is a distributor for Balance-Certified. We went to the range and tried a few different weights. It was amazing, I was killing the ball on a straight line. I could even move the ball right to left. He installed the weights in my SMT 455 and my Alpha V2 425 drivers. I went to a Remax Qualifier that weekend. I took second with a drive of 374 yds, longest in competition by 33 yds. 2 weeks later I took first at a another Remax qualifier, at 334 yds (strong headwind, wet grid). I was pretty impressed. I had my clubs checked. The 30 gm weight brought my swingweights down from f-3 to e-5. A tremendous difference in control and swingspeed.

Kevin Strom shoots new course record Tue Jul 20, 2004 - By Dale Ball

First, let me start by saying that this "testimonial" is completely unsolicited - I just want to report the facts as I saw them:

I had the pleasure of playing 18 holes with Kevin Strom on Tuesday, July 20th starting at 1:45pm in 95 degree temperatures and after spending about 15 minutes on the putting green getting introduced to the new Balance Certified Putter System (which we will talk about later). Kevin shot an incredible 64 (8 under par) from the blue tees with a couple of duffers hanging on and one pretty fair golfer (Ron Atkinson) in tow. In all my many years of playing golf, I have never witnessed firsthand as pure a shotmaking spectacle as I witnessed yesterday. Every drive, every iron and every putt was absolutely "dead-on". Long drives and approach shots to die for, Kevin definitely had it all "going on". What I saw yesterday I assume some see quite often if they follow tour players, but locally, you won't see this very often. I take my hat off to Kevin for a great round of golf.
Now, I'll get back to the Balance Certified Putter System. I won't give out the particulars only because I am surely not qualified to talk about the new inovation, but Kevin certainly is. I am convinced that Kevin's putting yesterday (27 putts for the round) was attributed to his new Balance insert. I have been fitted (actually it's my putter) with the new Balance System and, although not making every putt, my putting overall is significantly improved. Please take a few minutes and talk to Kevin or Dave about the demo routine.....you won't regret it.
Again, I say, great round of golf Kevin....keep up the good work.

Raquel Riley - Crowne Plaza Country Club, Grand Bahama Island 7/12/04, "The #3 was really, really, really good for me. I felt every part of the club. I knew where the club was at all times. It was just so much control, more control than I've ever felt in my life. Every portion of the entire swing from start to finish I knew where the club head was." Raquel is attending school on a full golf scholarship. Raquel and her coach Randall are preparing for Q-School in the fall. Raquel's longest measured drive is 345 yds. on hole 16 at the Emerald course where she practices everyday. Raquel went through the Motion Balancing process and fitted to a #3 weight in her driver. I can't wait to hear what her new long drive will be.

We talked a lot about her game and we tested her putter too. She realized that just hitting far on the Tour will not be enough. She made a comittment after the putter fitting to spend a lot more time on her short game, putting and chipping, so she could score better.

Blake Stark 16, qualifies for the USGA U.S. Junior Amateur two weeks ago in Atlanta. What make's this story hot for Balance-Certified is Blake's teacher, Carol Preisinger-Nitkewicz,LPGA instructor and former LPGA player, is a Balance-Certified Dealer in Atlanta. 4 months earlier Carol balanced Blake's Scotty Cameron putter to help him to his first AJGA tournament victory with a 3 under 145, and a three stroke victory this past March.

June '04...there were only 4 spots open in the qualifier for the USGA U.S. Junior Amateur and Blake shot a 1 under par (143) for the rain soaked day and won the low qualifier, again using his Balance-Certified Scotty Cameron. Blake will be going to San Francisco July 19-22 to play in the USGA U.S.Open at the Olympic Club. Sorry, Carol won't get to caddie for him this time.

Thanks Carol for believing in the Balance enough to show Blake. Congratulations Blake on your accomplishments. Keep those success stories coming in. The Balance-Certified weighting system helps players of all levels and all ages.

I had Booher hook me up with a # 5 in a old Bullseye flange at my May 10th demo day. The putter hasn't been out of my hands since! I've played a couple of Section PGA events and a few rounds at my club. Those who have seen me putt lately are astonished at how the ball rolls off my old putter. The word is spreading like wildfire! Even though I've only done maybe a dozen BC putter fittings, I can tell this is for real! It's amazing to watch the reaction of the ball when it come off the putter face when the correct counter weight is applied to the butt end.

Jerry Wollner, May 25, 2004: I was introduced to your product at Reynolds Plantation during Masters Weeks demos. I put the 30g inserts into all of my irons and would have also done my driver but the insert wouldn't fit because I had previously added an extension plug. The GOOD NEWS is that my index has gone from 11.5 to around 8.0 (changes out this week for May)! I'm probably playing the best golf in 10 years. The only major changes has been a good exercise program over the past 6 months and the CB [Counter Balance] Program.

I have ordered new shafts for my fairway woods and when they are here I'll also insert the CB [Counter Balance] weights. Thanks and continued good luck with your business.

Blake Stark, Wins his debut tournament on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) circuit March 13-14/04. He shot 76-69=145 for the 36 hole event, leading him to a 3 stroke victory. Former LPGA PLayer, Carol Preisinger/Nitkewicz is his teacher and the one who installed the Balance-Certified System in Blake's putter. He is presently ranked #1 in the boys division on the Plantation Junior Tour and now moving up in the competition to try to ensure a golf scholarship in the near future. This victory will certainly move him up in the national Golfweek Junior rankings from his present #433 (or so) ranking. Story provided by Bob Nitkewicz.

I went to the PGA Show this year hoping for the best. The show was awesome. So many things to choose from: drivers, putters, grips, balls, carts, more clubs... I was going to be hitting at the L.D.A. competition that Saturday night of the show. Thursday morning I broke my driver. That afternoon, I wondered around the show trying to find the right stuff to make a new one. Thanks to Tim Hewitt at Ostrich Golf, I found everything plus one thing more. That my friends was Balance Certified Golf and their weighted system. I was hitting my driver 245-250 yards from my Solo Rider Golf cart, not my wheelchair. After being tested by guys at B.C.G. I started getting more distance than I thought. I was getting 40 and 50 yards more out of my driver. Saturday night came and I didn't get to hit in the long drive competition due to time and weather. But I did get to hit that night, the grid started at 300 yards, and yes I did get some of the six balls I hit to the grid! So to you out there in the golf world, B.C.G. does help. So get certified and help your game.

Adam Novak, Wins the 2003 Mayfair Open using the Pro-Balance System in both his putter and ERC 3 Wood. He scored 67-68 with 24 - 22 putts respectively.

12/13/03 Jack Stilwell, Delray Beach, FL.

"I've never putted as well as I have this year with your product." .

11/18/03 Juan Diaz, Fresno, CA....USGTF

"I made 3 or 4 birdie putts outside 20 ft. I just had the confidence the putter was going to stay low to the ground. The short putts inside 6 ft. were just automatic." Juan Placed 5th in the World Golf Teachers Cup 2003 .

11/18/03 Jerry Moore, Summerville, NJ.... USGTF

"I shot 78 the first day, had my clubs done with the Balance-Certified and ended up with a 75 today to take 2nd in the Senior Division. I highly recommend the Balance for the putter, irons, driver all the golf clubs, so get balanced." World Golf Teachers Cup 2003

11/18/03 Carlos de Barros, Lake Worth, FL....USGTF

"I shot a 76 the first day, went and saw the Balance-Certified guys and got my putter balanced. The following day I shot a 69 and took 3rd Place. You gotta get it done!" Carlos Placed 3rd in the World Golf Teachers Cup 2003 .

9/10/03 David Ratherdale, Rockville Maryland

I am writing you to tell you what a wonderful product you have in the balancing of putter's concept I recently found out about. I was unsure of the idea of putting weights in the grip of any club. I was brought up to believe that counter balancing the grip would severely make the club head feel light and would ruin it's over all feel. Boy, was I wrong! Since I have gotten use to the system, my putting has improved tremendously. My takeaway has firmed up allowing me to take the hands out of the stroke and get the upper body back into the stroke that I used to have years ago. My much needed confidence over 3 and 4-foot putts has returned and my handicap has dropped and I am comfortable play to it.

This product really works. You don't have to buy a new putter. You can use the one you always liked but wouldn't behave. If you're looking to take your hands out of the stroke, I would get fitted for this system as fast as you can and start enjoying the game again!.

5/29/03 Donald Trahan, PGA Master Professional..."The Surge"

Just a short note to let you know that last Friday, I won the Carolinas PGA Senior Championship using my Balance-Certified Driver. Which, I drove real well with it. Solid, and with good distance. I shot 68 - 67 =135 and won by five. I feel that the weight in the grip stabilizes the club in your hands more which in turn, makes the head very stable and more accurate at impact. The club does not feel heavy, but more of a synchronized unit especially kicking at impact.

5/20/03 Donald Trahan, PGA Master Professional..."The Surge"

"I like the feel of the club, the head feels more dense. The weight seems to have taken some of the hollowness and loudness out of it. I feel the shaft and clubhead are more stable. Contact is solid and consistent, and I feel that I hit it higher. I have played only 9 holes with it, and I was definitely longer. I might say 10 minimum and maybe even as much as 20 yards. On 5 and 9, par fives, I drove 15 to 20 past the 200 marker, which is usually a good drive for me. The ball definitely holds a tight line, and I believe I may have a little more draw, which I like. Now, for the big dog, D.J. We started out with the lightest and worked up. The 20 weight was good. He then tried the 30. We went back a forth a few times and settled on the 20. He definitely had better control, was able to accelerate his arm speed better with the 20. The 30, seemed to be too heavy, and thus he couldn't really let it go as well as the 20. Ball flight looks much hotter off the clubhead. The ball really jumps off and appears to sustain that jump at least 50 yards plus. His initial extra ball velocity is really noticeable. Mine is at least for me, not nearly so seeable, which means my wimp drive doesn't have the gusto..."but it definitely is farther for me." His trajectory is good and high, the ball bores and holds the line well, and I would say he is longer. I cannot put a definite number on it, but soon hope maybe he can give me one. Lastly, I really believe the weight gives him more hand/shaft, clubhead control. He seemed to be much more in control of the club and his ball. His dispersion was much smaller. He tested the weights Sunday, played the practice round Monday, and used the club/weights in open qualifying on Tuesday. Drove the ball well, quite long and in play, and qualified for the finals in 3 weeks with a round of 70. He is presently playing in the NCAA East Regionals at Auburn Alabama, and the driver is in play. I think, that maybe he and I may want to put the weights in our fairway woods. Thanks again, and I'll get back to you with more info when I have some. P.S. I have a tournament next Thursday and Friday, The CPGA Senior Championship. My Balanced-Certified driver will definitely be in play!"

5/5/03 Steve Bellamy, Scottsdale, AZ

"I just played my first round with newly installed 10 gram weights in all my clubs. They feel fabulous, and I shot a personal best 75! Thank you for creating such an excellent product. P.S. I had the install done by Rob Scharrer at Nevada Bob's in Scottsdale. He represents your products very well."

4/24/03 Adam Holowczak

"I would like to thank Balance-Certified Golf for the weighting system for my wedges, putter and drivers. After hitting the same SW with and without the weights I have seen and felt the difference in the ball contact with the club head. With the weights I saw that the grouping on the club face was a bit larger then a half dollar ($.50) coin, to a quarter ($.25) coin in the grouping. Then I was working on my chipping and I found that I liked the feeling of the weight so much that I had my SW (52 degree) take over as my favorite club in the bag. When this happened it didn't take me long to add the weights to my LW. I think in time the LW and SW will share in being the favorite clubs in my bag. I'm playing the Balance-Certified System in my driver, sand wedge, lob wedge and in my putter. I know in time the Balance-Certified Golf Weighting Systems are going to be in all my clubs. With them, I know they will help me play better then ever in all my tournaments this year. Thank you Balance-Certified Golf for knocking strokes off my game but mostly for improving my confidence just by adding some grams to the top of the grip.

2/26/03 Tom Landers, 2 handicap

"I could not believe the difference the Balance Certified product made in my game. Being a scratch golfer, I am always looking to improve my game and experiment with technology, just like every golfer I know. I put this in my driver and could not believe how "solid" feeling my shots had become, not to mention I added 15-20 yards to every drive - not just the well hit ones. The club became easier to swing and I could easily work the ball left to right or right to left. I have been driving the ball better than I can remember since using the Balance Certified System. It is going into all of my clubs.

I experimented with the weights, at first using a 20 gram weight in the shaft. With this weight, I really did not notice anything significantly different. I switched to the 10 gram weight and noticed that my ball flight was higher and to the right. I tried the 30 gram weight and could not believe the ball flight and distance I was getting and it felt great. It is hard to put words to a feeling however with the Balance Certified Weights in my driver - the club felt right - the right balance, the right weighting, the right solid contact. I would not be without this product in my arsenal to shoot better golf scores. This could only benefit every level of golfer. I will be putting this in all my clubs. You don't need a new driver, putter or set of clubs - you need clubs that feel right for you. Balance Certified products allows you to have clubs that feel right to you. This product makes hitting the ball and playing well easy."

1/15/03 Gary Ellis, PGA Master Professional, Director of Golf Operations for the Country Club at Deer Run

“Thank you sincerely for your time and consideration in visiting the Country Club at Deer Run.

With over thirty-six years as a member of the PGA of America and Director of Golf Operations, I have been fortunate to teach and coach both swing and the game of golf at all skill levels. Your Balance Certified System that allows more to identity in the connection of the golf club to the body and mind through the hands is a quality proven theory.

The day after I purchased your system I sold three installations to putters by just spending a short time on the practice green. During my lesson that same day, I tried the rings on two students. Their feel factor with more mass in their hands was enhanced tremendously.

The primary observations I made were their rhythm with both the putters and the drivers. Their rhythm factor was noticeably softer and smoother.

One additional and very relative point, one individual who experienced the system had a noticeable tremor or shake in his hands when gripping the putter prior to beginning the stroke. When I placed the 60 gram weight at the end of his grip and he stroked a few putts, his tremor was barely noticeable. He deemed his experience ‘a miracle in progress? His next step is conversion to his woods, and on to his irons. He is a three handicap and will be a great spokesperson for your system.

John, I am truly excited about the improvements your system will bring to my members and guests. The student sells the system to himself through better more identifiable feel in his hands.

After all, is not this wonderful and challenging game of a lifetime played by feel? Thank you for offering my staff and I this great opportunity.?

1/13/03 J.D. Naler - Long Drive Professional, Long Drive Assoc. Member and Competitor

"In my sport, distance and accuracy mean everything. With the Pro-Balance 2020 Driver System in my drivers, I have both. More center hits mean I will hit the grid. Being able to control the amount of spin and the trajectory of my drivers just by changing the weight inserts means my drives will go longer. The Pro-Balance Driver System has given me the confidence I need to swing hard,...very hard. "

7/2/02 Robert Moore - Jr Golfer from El Salvador (updated)

"The Balance-Certified putting aid also helped me qualify for the U.S. Junior Amateur. I made 24 the last round to shoot 71. I went on to make a six-footer for par on the third playoff hole to snag the last spot. "

6/29/02 Adam Holowczak - 1st time Buy.com Qualifier

"You have no idea how much you have changed my golf game, my mental outlook about golf, life and people in general. The concept that you and your partners have come up with has improved my golf game not by a large amount of shots, but by more in confidence over all my puts. This system has cut one to two shots off my overall puts per round from the spring of 2002 to the early part of the summer of 2002. I know that in time the number of shots saved will increase and my scores are going to decrease. After using the Pro-Balance 2010 weighting system I would have to say that the Balance-Certified Golf System is like legalizing a playable putting aid. I have found that the ball feels a hundred times better off the face, and the fact of being able to hold the putter lighter has decreased my putting stats one to two puts per round, after using the Pro-Balance 2010 weighting system for only several weeks. In fact, during the fifth week of using the Pro-Balance 2010, I Monday qualified for a Buy.Com Tour event. I would definitely have to say that the Pro-Balance 2010 was a key element for me to qualify."

"Thank you for introducing me to your company and ideas at the PGA Tour event in Greensboro North Carolina and also for keeping in contact with me. I am very interested in the new products that Balance-Certified has and is going to introduce to the golfing world in the future. Once again, thank you for sharing your valuable time with me."

6/28/02 Robert Moore - Jr Golfer from El Salvador

"My name is Robert Moore, and I am a junior golfer from El Salvador looking to be recognized. I knew that Balance-Certified could help me when I first heard about it. I have always been an average putter. I usually have about 31 putts per round. I was really frustrated because no matter how much I would practice I couldn't bring my average down. Then I met John Cranston, a tour rep for Balance-Certified Golf, in the practice round of the Mastercard Colonial and he explained what his mechanism could do for me. He explained it to me and it seemed very simple and, most importantly, it made sense. So I decided to go ahead and give him my putter so he could install the Pro-Balance 2010. I got it at the beginning of the summer. I just played the Texas Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament in Wichita Falls, TX, and I won my age division! I shot a total of 294, 78, 75, 73, 68. I averaged 27 putts and I made 26 putts in my final round. I firmly believe that it is due to Balance-Certified. The T-O is played on three different courses which means different green speeds. All I had to do is change the weights in the grip of my putter and I could keep the same stroke I have always been comfortable with. Bottom line, this product works. If you get the yips, or if you three putt often under pressure, then this is your remedy!"
